I am a front-end developer with over 8 years of experience, specializing in React and TypeScript to build accessible, high-performance, user-focused interfaces. I also have backend experience with Ruby on Rails, though front-end development remains my first love.
When I'm not writing code, I tend towards low intensity activities. I read fiction, redecorate, and play video games (specifically, and exclusively The Sims).
Work History & Recent Work
- Helped build Jane's first AI-powered customer-facing in-app feature including maintaining its bespoke infrastructure
- Planned and led development of the cross-team initiative to bring Jane's first AI feature to online appointments
- Planned and led development and rollout of Jane's first in-app freemium/upsell feature
- The team structure allowed to me to work across the full stack, from React/TS to Ruby on Rails, Python, Terraform, various AWS services, and more.
- Planned and led the project to decouple the multi-step clinical intake forms, which allowed clinic staff send only parts of the form that was specific to their needs
- Planned and led the migration of clinical intake forms from HAML to React, resulted in a safe rollover with 0 downtime
- Spiked one of staff members' most requested features during a hackathon: the ability to see and action on patients who have not completed their intake forms in time for their appointment
- Wrote multiple technical documents, including research on a new achictecture of Jane's template library
- Implemented front-end interface that allows enterprise threat hunters to find anomalous/risky activity
- Principally worked in ReactJS with MobX
- Built and maintained admin dashboard to allow not-for-profit organizations to manage donations
- Worked with ReactJS, TypeScript, and Firebase
